Tomahawk

Semic · 1982–1984 · 39 issues
About the series

In the early 1980s, Semic revived the classic DC Western hero Tomahawk for a 39-issue run that blended frontier adventure with the supernatural. Writers Michael Fleisher, Russel Carley, and John Albano, alongside artists Fred Ray, Tony DeZuniga, and Frank Thorne, sent the Revolutionary War-era scout into eerie tales alongside fellow frontiersmen Jonah Hex and Dan Hunter. This series stands as a distinctive, short-lived chapter that brought a darker, more fantastical edge to the traditional Tomahawk mythos.
