Topolino
Nerbini · 1933–1935 · 9 issues
About the series
Published in Italy by Nerbini from 1933 to 1935, Topolino ran for nine issues and marked the country's first dedicated comic devoted to Mickey Mouse. The series featured American material, with stories primarily written by Floyd Gottfredson, Ted Osborne, and Merrill De Maris, and illustrated by Gottfredson himself. A pioneering title in Italian comics, it introduced local readers to the classic, long-form newspaper-style adventures of the Disney icon.
