In 1935, the Italian publisher Mondadori launched Topolino [Supplemento] as a special supplement to its flagship Topolino magazine, offering readers a curated selection of classic Walt Disney newspaper strips. The series' three issues are most notably shaped by writer Ted Osborne and artist Floyd Gottfredson, whose work on Mickey Mouse adventures defined the character's early comic-strip legacy.
