Totem (1970–1986) was a landmark French-Italian comics anthology from publisher Mon Journal, spanning 66 issues and bridging the transition from classic adventure strips to a more mature, auteur-driven era. The series is best remembered for its eclectic mix of serialized westerns, science fiction, and historical epics, with standout contributions from Spanish artist Carlos Giménez, Italian writer Leonello Martini, and American cartoonist Warren Tufts (who both wrote and drew for the title).
