Transmetropolitan

In the late 1990s, DC's Helix imprint published this four-issue miniseries, a prequel to the main Transmetropolitan run that digs deeper into the chaotic world of outlaw journalist Spider Jerusalem. Written by Warren Ellis and illustrated by Darick Robertson, it focuses on a young Tilsner, a key figure from the series' larger mythology, as he navigates a corrupt and surreal future. While a compact story, it expands the gritty, satirical universe that made the ongoing series a landmark of 1990s comics.
