Trappeurs de rien

A five-issue series from Éditions de la Gouttière, Trappeurs de rien (2016–2019) follows a group of young fur trappers in the Canadian wilderness whose ambitious plans constantly fall apart. The strip’s deadpan humor and expressive, cartoony art capture the chaotic, often absurd misadventures of kids trying to live a rugged frontier life. It’s a warm, lightly satirical look at childhood ambition and the gap between romantic ideals and messy reality.
