Treasury of Mini Comics

From 2013 to 2015, Fantagraphics revived the spirit of underground comix with Treasury of Mini Comics, a two-issue series that collected and celebrated the scrappy, DIY charm of minicomics. Curated with a sharp eye by Trina Robbins—who also wrote and drew for the anthology—and featuring art from Ron Regé Jr., this collection preserved a vital, often overlooked corner of indie cartooning. It matters as a time capsule of the minicomics movement, showcasing raw, personal storytelling that mainstream comics rarely touched.
