Trigan

In 1991, German publisher Norbert Hethke Verlag revived the classic science-fiction epic Trigan for a new generation, collecting and continuing the saga of the alien empire of Trigan across 22 issues. Originally created by writer Mike Butterworth and artist Don Lawrence, whose lush, painted style defined the series, this run brought their sweeping tales of political intrigue, war, and futuristic civilizations back into print. A cornerstone of European adventure comics, Trigan remains a landmark for Lawrence's breathtaking world-building and Butterworth's layered storytelling.
