Turok

Across 17 issues published by BSV - Williams from 1967 to 1970, Turok followed the adventures of a Native American warrior in a prehistoric, dinosaur-filled valley. The series is most strongly associated with the art of Giovanni Ticci, whose dynamic illustrations brought the primal conflicts to vivid life. As a key entry in the publisher's line of licensed and original titles, it helped solidify the character's enduring presence in comics long before his later video game fame.
