Under the Influence (2024–present) is a Mad Cave Studios series that explores the corrupting power of addiction through a supernatural lens. The debut issue, written by David Pepose with art by Alex Cormack, follows a struggling musician who discovers a mysterious record that grants him extraordinary talent—at a devastating cost. This modern horror-tinged tale marks a striking collaboration between Pepose and Cormack, offering a visceral, character-driven take on the Faustian bargain.
