About the series
In the mid-1980s, Semic brought the sci-fi miniseries V to the comic page, adapting the television saga of a seemingly friendly alien race secretly bent on conquering Earth. Across nine issues, writers like Cary Bates, Mindy Newell, and Paul Kupperberg, alongside artists including Carmine Infantino, Denys Cowan, and Tod Smith, expanded the story of the human Resistance. This series captured the tense, paranoid atmosphere of the original show, offering a key comic-book exploration of its themes of occupation and rebellion.
