About the series
In the lurid, black-and-white pages of Italian publisher Edifumetto, Vampirissimo (1972–1980) sank its teeth into the horror-fumetti market across 98 issues, blending gothic eroticism with visceral monster-mayhem. The series is visually defined by the feverishly detailed, often decadent cover and interior art of masters Emanuele Taglietti, Fernando Carcupino, and Alessandro Biffignandi, whose work gave the title its distinctive, sleeker-than-average grindhouse glamour.
