Vampirissimo

From 1980 to 1982, Elvifrance unleashed Vampirissimo, a 27-issue horror comic series that leaned heavily into the grotesque and the erotic. Italian artist Rodolfo Valcarenghi, who both drew and painted the series, gave it a lurid, atmospheric visual identity that defined its run. A key entry in the European black-and-white horror boom of the era, it stands as a cult artifact of the publisher's distinctive, transgressive style.
