Vampus

A brooding, black-and-white horror anthology from Spanish publisher Ibero Mundial de Ediciones, Vampus ran for 39 issues between 1971 and 1975. The series is best remembered for the macabre, atmospheric work of American artist-writer Tom Sutton, whose twisted creatures and moody storytelling, alongside contributions from Archie Goodwin and Jan Strnad, gave the title a distinct, gothic flavor.
