About the series
A gentle, wordless German comic strip series from Südverlag, Vater und Sohn (1993–present) follows the everyday adventures of a balding, mustachioed father and his young son. Though the series has only produced three issues, it is beloved for its warm, slapstick humor and the universal bond between parent and child. The strip is most associated with its original creator, e.o.plauen, whose timeless work from the 1930s was revived in this modern collection.
