Vautour

In the early 1970s, the French publisher S.N.E.C. launched Vautour, a short-lived but vividly illustrated series running just 12 issues. This comic blended espionage and adventure, following the exploits of its titular hero through a Cold War-era lens common to the period's European bande dessinée. While the series didn't achieve lasting fame, it remains a distinctive artifact of its time, showcasing the bold, kinetic artwork and pulpy storytelling that defined the S.N.E.C. line.
