Veden väki

Anna Pitkänen’s Veden väki is a single-issue Finnish comic from Lahden sarjakuvaseura, launched in 2022. The work explores themes connected to water and its mythical or folkloric inhabitants, rendered through Pitkänen’s distinctive art and storytelling. As a self-contained project, it showcases her singular vision as both writer and artist in the contemporary Finnish small-press scene.
