Vigilante

From 1985 to 1986, DC Comics published Vigilante, a 10-issue series written by Marv Wolfman that followed the violent, street-level crusader Adrian Chase. With art from a rotating team of Ross Andru, Ed Hannigan, and Gil Kane, the book explored the moral costs of extrajudicial justice in a gritty, post-Crisis on Infinite Earths landscape. Its focused run and unflinching tone made it a notable entry in DC's mid-80s shift toward darker, more realistic crime narratives.
