A moody, historical horror series from Le Lombard, Vlad ran for seven issues from 2000 to 2006, bringing a darkly atmospheric take on the Vlad Țepeș legend. Writer Yves Swolfs and artist Griffo crafted a brooding, visually rich narrative that blended historical drama with gothic fantasy, exploring the prince's transformation into the figure of Dracula. This series stands out for its mature, European comic sensibility and its refusal to soften the brutal, tragic core of its infamous protagonist.
