In 1965, Hjemmet/Egmont brought Walt Disney’s The Sword in the Stone to life as a single comic issue, adapting the classic animated film with a warm, storybook feel. The issue was scripted by Carl Fallberg and illustrated by Pete Alvarado, two seasoned Disney comics craftsmen who delivered a faithful, charming retelling of young Arthur’s magical journey.
