Walt & Skeezix

From 2005 to 2019, Drawn & Quarterly released seven volumes of Walt & Skeezix, a lovingly curated reprint series dedicated to Frank King’s classic newspaper strip Gasoline Alley. Under the editorial eye of Chris Ware, the collection presents the strip’s landmark early years, chronicling the everyday lives of bachelor Walt Wallet and the foundling Skeezix with a warmth and depth that reshaped American comics.
