About the series
Ian McGinty and Samantha Glow Knapp co-wrote this five-issue Z2 Comics series, with McGinty and S. M. Vidaurri sharing art duties. Welcome to Showside (2015–2016) follows a young monster and his friends in a quirky, supernatural town where everyday life is as weird as it is warm. The series stands out for its vibrant, cartoony art style and its playful take on friendship and community in a world full of ghosts, ghouls, and oddball creatures.
