Western Trails

A five-issue Western comic from L. Miller & Son, Western Trails (1957–present) is a minor but intriguing footnote in Stan Lee’s pre-Marvel career, with art by a rotating team of Joe Maneely, John Buscema, and Myron Fass. It’s a short-lived, unassuming entry in the crowded 1950s Western genre, notable today mainly for the early involvement of these future legends before their landmark superhero work.
