About the series
A single, oversized issue from 2012, Wild Children is a standalone graphic novel from Image Comics that presents a haunting, philosophical fable. Written by Aleš Kot and illustrated by Riley Rossmo, it follows a group of young people in a dystopian, post-industrial landscape as they grapple with the legacy of their parents' generation and the nature of freedom. The story is a dense, surreal meditation on rebellion, history, and the cyclical violence of revolution, rendered in Rossmo's expressive, ink-heavy style. This debut collaboration between Kot and Rossmo marked the beginning of a long-running creative partnership.
