About the series
Beau Smith and artist Joyce Chin brought a supernatural Western attitude to Image Comics in the mid-1990s with Wynonna Earp (1996–1997). This five-issue series introduced the great-great-granddaughter of legendary lawman Wyatt Earp, who trades in her family's revolver for a badge and a mission to hunt down the monstrous descendants of the outlaws her ancestor put down. It's a gritty, genre-blending cult favorite that helped establish a unique corner of the publisher's lineup, blending horror, action, and frontier mythology.
