Фен и Мен

In early 1990s Bulgaria, the independent publisher Феномен launched Фен и Мен, a short-lived but vivid 8-issue comic series anchored by artist Венелин Вълканов. The title chronicled the adventures of two young friends, blending everyday humor with light science-fiction and fantasy elements. As one of the few original Bulgarian comic series of the post-communist era, it captured a transitional moment in local pop culture, proving that homegrown comics could thrive outside state-controlled publishing.
