Максим Оса, launched in 2010 under the Евгениос banner, is a Ukrainian comic series by writer and artist Игорь Баранько. Set in a gritty historical-fantasy world, it follows its Cossack hero through a single, self-contained issue that established the tone for an ongoing saga. Baranko’s singular vision—both writing and illustrating—gives the series a cohesive, atmospheric style that stands out in Eastern European comics.
