Кан Тервел

Кан Тервел is a Bulgarian historical comic series launched in 2017 by the Foundation "Vazdigane", focusing on the life and reign of the early medieval Bulgar ruler Khan Tervel. Illustrated by the series' most frequent artist, Веселин Чакъров, it blends national history with the visual language of sequential art. Though currently consisting of a single issue, the series stands as a notable example of modern Bulgarian comic publishing, bringing a pivotal figure from the First Bulgarian Empire to a contemporary audience.
