In 2018, the Bulgarian foundation "Въздигане" launched this historical comic series, with artist Веселин Чакъров bringing to life the story of Khan Kubrat and the legacy of the Bulgars. Spanning a single issue so far, it explores the ancient roots and cultural testament of the Bulgarian people through a visually rich, narrative-driven approach.
