About the series
Based on Ivan Vazov’s classic novel, this Bulgarian comic series from Примакс adapts the story of the April Uprising against Ottoman rule. Writer and artist Жак Наре illustrates the tale, with additional scripting by Орлин Неделчев. A single-issue release, it brings a key work of national literature into the visual language of comics.
