X-O Manowar

A single-issue series from Voyager Communications, X-O Manowar (1994–present) launched a new take on the armored hero concept. This debut issue, the only one produced, introduced a protagonist bonded to a sentient, alien war-suit and set the stage for a franchise that would later expand across multiple publishers. Though brief, it remains a key artifact of the mid-1990s comics landscape and the foundation of a long-running universe.
