About the series
A long-running European espionage thriller from Cinebook, XIII follows an amnesiac man who discovers he is the prime suspect in the assassination of the U.S. president. Beginning in 2010, the series is most closely associated with writer Jean Van Hamme and artist William Vance, whose tense, globe-trotting conspiracy plots and sharp, realistic art defined the franchise. Later volumes, written by Yves Sente and Jérôme Saincantin with art by Iouri Jigounov, continue the intricate mystery, making it a cornerstone of modern Franco-Belgian comic publishing in English.
