From 1974 to 1975, the French publisher Sanoma launched Zoom, a short-lived but visually striking comic series that ran for just 14 issues. Most frequently illustrated by the legendary Jean Giraud (Moebius) alongside Jean Graton, the title showcased their distinctive, evolving styles during a fertile period in European comics. Though brief, Zoom offers a compelling snapshot of mid-70s bande dessinée, capturing a moment when established talents like Giraud and Graton were experimenting with the medium's narrative and artistic possibilities.
