About the series
In the mid-1970s, Italian publisher Ediperiodici launched Zordon, a 51-issue comic series that blended science fiction with the publisher's signature brand of sensational, often macabre adventure. Most frequently illustrated by artist Pino Dangelico, the series followed its titular hero through a landscape of alien threats and dystopian intrigue, reflecting the era's fascination with cosmic pulp. While never as internationally renowned as some contemporaries, Zordon stands as a distinctive artifact of Italian comics' experimental and genre-pushing period.
