Dan Fraga
1973–
Dan Fraga was born on June 19, 1973, in the United States. He is best known as a comic book artist, storyboard artist, and director in animation and film. Right out of high school, he began his professional career as an illustrator for Rob Liefeld’s Extreme Studios, a founding partner of Image Comics. This early start placed him at the heart of the 1990s comics boom.
Fraga’s most credited work includes *Witchblade*, *Wolverine*, and *Bloodstrike*, as well as the *He-Man and the Masters of the Multiverse* series. He has also worked on *Black Flag* and *Kid Supreme*. His style is energetic and detailed, well-suited to both superhero action and fantasy. Over his career, spanning from 1992 to 2023, he has served as artist, colorist, inker, and writer on dozens of issues. Beyond comics, Fraga hosts the YouTube show *Couchdoodles Show*, and has worked extensively in storyboarding and directing for film and animation. His legacy is that of a versatile creator who moved fluidly between the printed page and the screen.
