Ian brings Siry to Irons as the police chief has refused to do the villain's bidding in giving Sara the missing Witchblade jewel. Sara tells Jake a brief origin story of how she got the Witchblade but her new partner, Eric, overhears the conversation. Sara finally catches up with revenge murderer Jeanrene Pironi but arrives too late as the mob bosses daughter is nabbed and killed by Jackie Estacado on orders from her father. As Sara tries to intervene, the Witchblade freaks out and immobilizes her. Irons orders Ian to get rid of Setsuke.
