Jeff Dee

Jeff Dee is an American artist and game designer best known for his early work at TSR, where he became the company’s youngest artist at age 18. Born in the United States, he later co-created the *Villains and Vigilantes* superhero role-playing game. In comics, Dee worked primarily as an artist and inker on 23 issues between 1982 and 1990, with his most credited titles including *Villains and Vigilantes*, *The Badger*, *Robotech: The New Generation*, *Power Lords*, *Fright Night*, and *Next Man*. His style, marked by clean, dynamic linework, suited both superhero and licensed adaptations. Beyond comics, Dee co-hosted the atheism advocacy podcasts *The Atheist Experience* and *Non-Prophets*. His legacy rests on his dual contributions to early tabletop gaming and 1980s independent comics, where his collaborations helped define the visual identity of several cult-favorite series.
