Pulp Magazine Cover, 1953

· January 1953

This document is not a pulp magazine but a classified U.S. Air Force collection of UFO sighting reports from Project Blue Book, dated January–February 1953, originating from Patrick Air Force Base, Florida.

The reports document four separate incidents involving unidentified flying objects observed by military personnel. The first sighting (January 22) describes four airmen witnessing a fiery red-orange ball traveling silently north to south at high speed for three minutes. A second incident (January 22) reports a similar red-orange object with no aerodynamic features, exhaust, or sound, traveling at high speed from north to south. The third sighting (January 29) details a yellow-and-blue object with erratic flight characteristics observed moving south to north without sound. A final report (date partially obscured) describes two cloud-like objects positioned horizontally in the sky, spaced apart, lacking aerodynamic features and exhaust. All incidents were deemed to have insufficient data for definitive evaluation or were classified as meteorological phenomena.
