This is not a pulp magazine but a declassified U.S. Air Force intelligence report dated January 26, 1952, documenting an unidentified flying object sighting. The report describes a single white object with intermittent orange and green trails observed approximately six miles southeast of Pinewood, South Carolina. The object traveled seven miles on a parallel course at an altitude of 2,500 feet over wooded terrain, hovering for five minutes before moving westward and descending. Ten civilian witnesses—including a Coca-Cola representative, his wife, her sister-in-law, and six children—observed the incident. The report notes clear weather conditions, limited visibility, and cross-references military aircraft in the area including an R-26 from Shaw Air Force Base and Navy aircraft. The document was downgraded and eventually declassified.
