"Brigitte en Acción: Champán con Guindas" is a spy thriller by Lou Carrigan (1968) featuring the agent known as "Baby" or Brigitte Montfort. The narrative opens with a prologue, "Sangre en el Mar" (Blood at Sea), depicting the death of operative Gilberto Sierra on a tropical island, who sacrifices himself protecting a valuable briefcase destined for contact Héctor Benjumea in Ciudad Andina.
