# Brigada antivicio
This Spanish-language crime thriller by Curtis Garland opens with undercover police officer Jerry Sykes conducting a drug transaction at a Malibu beach house, testing white powder and exchanging a half-million-dollar bribe with a supplier. The deal turns violent when the supplier shoots Sykes three times; Sykes fires once before dying. A motorcyclist then ambushes and kills patrol officer Webb with a shotgun before escaping by speedboat with both suitcases. Detective Dan Glover grieves his former partner and clashes with lieutenant Hogart over the lost money and Sykes's solo operation. Learning Sykes frequented the Pop-Show nightclub in Gardena despite disliking modern music, Glover visits the establishment with his new partner, black detective Roy Stubb. The club features the heavy metal band The Skulls and sexually charged dancing by teenagers, prompting Glover's suspicion about drug corruption of youth.
