This issue of Wild West Weekly (No. 659, June 4, 1915) features "Young Wild West's Double Wedding at Weston," by An Old Scout. Young Wild West encounters highwayman Blond Jake Richardson on the mountain road while returning from Spondulicks with Reverend Thomas Burton, a minister. Jake robs Burton of his money, watch, and ring, but Wild quickly draws his revolver and forces Jake to surrender and return everything before chasing him off. The main plot concerns an upcoming double wedding: Jack Robedee is marrying Martha Goff (rescued from Indians months earlier), while Lively Rick takes Nevada Kate as his bride. Wild has arranged for Reverend Burton to officiate and purchased him a new suit of fine broadcloth for the occasion. The wedding is scheduled for Wednesday, promising to be a significant event for the town of Weston.
