A Cop Called Tracy #11
In "Pear-Shape is a Fugitive; Sparkle Plenty is a Model," Chester Gould delivers another sharp, character-driven tale from the world of A Cop Called Tracy, where Sam goes undercover as a woman to unravel Pear-Shape’s criminal schemes—only to need Tracy’s help when things go awry. With Pear-Shape fleeing to a reduction sanitarium and ending up in the city zoo, and Talcum Freely eyeing a new deal with Sparkle Plenty, the stakes and absurdity rise in equal measure. The story, written and illustrated by Chester Gould with full art credit on the cover, showcases his signature blend of noir tension and offbeat humor in a 1999 release priced at $2.95.
