B.O. Plenty flees after he thinks he has killed Talcum Freely. Tracy's investigation leads him to entertainer Spike Dyke, who gives him a lead on a half-crazed fashion designer, Sketch Paree. Tracy and Catchem follow a clue to an abandoned ice house where Paree tries to drown them. Later Paree plans to kill Dyke by drowning him with a "water mask."
