A Distant Soil #3
A Distant Soil #3 (1984) delivers a tense, pivotal chapter in Colleen Doran’s deeply atmospheric sci-fi epic, with Doran handling writing, art, and inks across the interior while Bob Pinaha provides the lettering. The story unfolds across three realms: aboard the Siovansin, where Sere and Niniri attempt to extract secrets from Jason with devastating results; in Avalon, where Galahad, Percival, and Lancelot stand ready at the enigmatic Gates; and on Earth, where Liana and Brent discover a wounded Galahad and bring him to Chris—only to be cornered by two agents from the Institute. The cover by Colleen Doran and Wendy Pini captures the series’ haunting, otherworldly tone.
