This is an anthology issue containing three stories. "Soup to Nuts" features Abbott and Costello at a high-class restaurant where Costello creates chaos by erasing a bill and getting caught up in discussion about keeping prices down and avoiding highway robbers. "Mickey the Mex" follows a character named Mickey who plans to propose to his love Lolita on a honeymoon to Popocatapetl, but gets mistaken for El Lobo and ends up in jail while a sheriff named Carramba pursues him. The final story depicts Abbott and Costello in a football scenario where Costello must learn a new play to win a big game, leading to physical comedy and confusion on the field.

When Bud Abbott lands Lou Costello a job as a porter at the opera house, a mix-up leads Lou to take the stage as the tenor Luigi Luigi at the opening of "Il Maesterschlager"—complete with tights, a spear, and a wig that nobody expected. As Abbott scrambles to find the real Luigi Luigi and stop the impending disaster, Lou somehow charms the audience and even impresses the notoriously stern music critic Virgil Thump. It's a wild night at the opera where nothing goes according to plan, but somehow the show must go on—whether the real star shows up or not.

When Bud Abbott and Lou Costello can't pay a sky-high dinner bill at a fancy restaurant, they end up working off their debt—first as dishwashers, then as cook and head waiter when the real staff walks out. What follows is complete kitchen chaos as the pair tries to handle orders, temperamental customers (including opera star Luigi Pastrami), and each other's incompetence, all while the restaurant descends into absolute madness. By the time they think they've found a way out, they discover the owner has other plans for settling accounts.

Bud Abbott's real estate business is desperate for a sale, so when Lou Costello inherits a fortune and wants to buy a house, Abbott sees his chance—but the properties he shows off are disasters in disguise, each one more ridiculous than the last. Watch as these two clash over what "genuine grass" construction and mosquito-infested homes really have to offer in this 1949 comedy.
