DC's Advanced Dungeons & Dragons #15 (1990) promises that the "Spell Games" arc is very much still alive, with this third chapter subtitled "Cat & Mouse." Jan Duursema's cover puts a fierce, blue-haired warrior woman front and center — clad in gold and red, she lunges forward with gritted determination, swinging a chain with weighted metal balls through a shadowy, skull-strewn dungeon landscape. It's a punchy, kinetic image that captures the tension of a story by Dan Mishkin still very much in motion heading into its fourth and final part.
