Big Boy comes across some gnomes who capture him. He finds Rip Van Winkle is also a prisoner of the gnomes. They attempt to give Big Boy a drink that will make him sleepy, but he splashes it on the gnomes instead. He wakes Rip Van Winkle up and they both escape to the city. Rip is very confused about all the strange activity and decides to run away back to the simple life with the gnomes.
