Alice Matheson #4
“Wie is Morgan Skinner?”
The fourth chapter of Betbeder and Pietrobon's *Alice Matheson* poses an unsettling question right in its subtitle — "Who is Morgan Skinner?" — and Pietrobon's cover art makes the tension palpable. A composed, white-coated doctor stands behind a hospital incubator holding a newborn, while on either side of him zombie-like figures in scrubs and surgical gear press against the glass, reaching and snarling. It's a genuinely chilling image — the fragility of new life surrounded by something deeply wrong — and exactly the kind of hook this Dutch-language horror-thriller series does so well.
