The five-issue Image series from Alex Paknadel and Caspar Wijngaard reaches its finale here, and Wijngaard's cover delivers a genuinely striking send-off: a monstrous, vein-covered alien figure dominates the foreground, its skull-like face twisted into a rictus grin, while a pair of cold, watchful eyes loom large in the divided blue-and-pink background behind it. The visual tension between that looming presence and the creature standing its ground makes this a fittingly intense closing image for the series.
